I suddenly found a book called History and Sovereignty of the South China Sea not long ago. After reading it, I felt that it was like a historical narrator, which helped us sort out the complicated topic of sovereignty ownership of South China Sea Islands.
Since the 1970s, the South China Sea dispute has been like an unsolved mystery, troubling people. But Professor Anthony Katie, a scholar who is well versed in international law, bravely took over this hot potato.
He consulted a large number of so-called "ownership" archives of South China Sea Islands in Britain, France and other countries, covering the period from the end of the 19th century to 1975. These precious archives, like historical witnesses, clearly tell us that the sovereignty of the South China Sea Islands always belongs to China.
The book also mentions various actions of foreign powers intervening in South China Sea affairs in recent years, attempting to use the South China Sea dispute for political, economic, and strategic interests. But this cannot change the facts and truth of history.
After reading this book, I deeply feel that China's territorial integrity and sovereignty are inviolable. At the same time, it also praises the Chinese government's firm determination and actions to safeguard national interests. I hope that with the joint efforts of the international community, the South China Sea can restore peace and stability as soon as possible, and become a blue homeland for common prosperity and development of all countries.
